A Pearsall resident posted a Facebook comment in an attempted detriment to the city’s management, prompting this statement from FBI and law enforcement:
“What the f…?”
Municipal election-time pole watchers seized on the release of a video with the goal of damaging the credibility of the man at the head of Pearsall’s payroll. The result has been a battle for Pearsall’s soul as the debate rages over who stole that pole.
“Who even wants that ‘ole pole?” asked one resident. “It’s taken a toll on the population as a whole.”
“N’ombre,” retorted the citizen patrol. “We must find the goal of the man who played a role in the stealing of the pole.”
The accused found another angle, wondering aloud “who is the mole that reported the pole?”
As voters head to the polls, the challengers will surely yell:
“remember the Ala-pole!”
